In the article, on the example of A. Odabash and N. Chelebijikhan`s works, certain issues of national tolerance upbringing are considered. The author comes to conclusion that the educational ideal of the Crimean Tatar enlightener writers, consists of the values based both on the universal and national treasures. This is an ideological directive towards formation of a successful ethno-confessional society. It includes cultivation of patriotism, the worship of the cultural heritage, asserting people's rights and dignity.
