The first Crimean Tatar AI assistant: a digital conversation partner on the language and culture of Crimea. T. Kerim — project participant (September 2025 – September 2026).
A digital humanities project developed by Crimean IT specialists led by Refat Ibraimov and presented at the business forum “AQMESCİT BAZAR-2025”. It reimagines the folklore figure Ahmet Aqay of Özenbaş as a digital conversation partner. The Telegram Mini App (@AhmetAqay_bot; app.ahmetaqay.ru) answers questions on the Crimean Tatar language and its dialects, traditions and everyday life, folklore, history, literature and the toponymy of Crimea; it also includes an ethno-style illustration generator (up to 5 images per day).
